Morgan C. Atkinson writes and produces programs which explore and celebrate the human spirit. With each new project his goal is to increase understanding while evoking a greater sense of our common bonds. Entertaining is nice too.

In a career spanning more than 30 years Atkinson has brought to life a diverse gallery of subjects. The range stretches from the spiritual journey of  Thomas Merton to high school basketball in the state of Kentucky. His documentaries have been seen frequently on PBS, both in Kentucky and nationwide since the late 1980’s. Much of the work has focused on people who live on the margins of society in an inspiring way. Some prime examples are those exemplars of simple living, Anna and Harlan Hubbard; social justice pioneer, John Howard Griffin; rock musician Tim Krekel; the wisdom purveyor Matthew Kelty and of course Thomas Merton.

Morgan Atkinson will bring one of his
